Commuters and travellers in France and across Europe faced further disruption on Wednesday amid a worsening cold snap that has caused flight and train cancellations in several countries and brought dangerous conditions for drivers. Snow prompted more than 800 flight cancellations at Amsterdam Schiphol airport and grounded a further 140 flights at Paris hubs.
